Help your client prepare for the Paramedical Exam

With the recent introduction of the new underwriting changes on
May 19th – all clients (except in Hawaii, Florida, and New York) are
required to undergo a paramedical exam as part of the LTC application
process.  A new consumer brochure has been developed to help your client prepare for the Paramedical exam and can be ordered and downloaded from www.jhltc.com. (LTC-2172)

Please note: Correction to CCIII featuring Benefit Builder product materials in New York

The application booklet (LTC-8520 NY) and product brochure
(LTC-8500 NY) are being updated to reflect the correct daily and
monthly benefit amounts in both metro and non-metro areas. The PDF
versions of both the application booklet and product brochure have
been corrected and are currently available for download on
www.jhltc.com. Print versions of both are also available.

PARTNERSHIP NEWS

4-Hour Refresher Training Available via Webinar

Our CE Vendor, LTC Connection now offers 4-Hour Refresher
Training for only $24.99 via webinar in select states. You will
receive a Certificate of Completion that meets your state’s DRA/NAIC
LTC Partnership training requirements (CE is only available in select
states). Unlike online training you do not have to take an exam.

Colorado 5-Hour
Ongoing Mandatory Training Available via Webinar

Colorado requires that the 5-hour ongoing training be taken in
a classroom venue. Our CE vendor, LTC Connection, has received
approval from the Colorado Department of Insurance to now offer this
classroom training via webinar. No more waiting for a class in your
area or traveling to meet this requirement. Webinars are offered on a
weekly basis. There is no exam to take.

Massachusetts 8-Hour
NAIC LTC Training Due by July 1, 2014

All producers must take an eight-hour NAIC Partnership course
effective July 1, 2014 in order to continue soliciting and selling LTC
Insurance. If you have taken an eight-hour NAIC Partnership Course
from another state, you can take a two-hour Massachusetts supplement
course. To view the required eight-hour and two-hour courses go to
