Next round of 2013 and 2010 in-force rate action notifications to take place in late February

The 2013 in-force rate action includes John Hancock LTCI individual policies originally issued in Colorado, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Also, we will continue implementation in Alaska, Arizona, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin and will begin notifications for additional products in those states. Fortis LTCI individual
policies originally issued in North Dakota and Wyoming are impacted.

The 2010 in-force rate action includes John Hancock LTCI individual policies originally issued in Colorado, Montana, and New Jersey. Fortis
LTCI individual policies originally issued in Virginia are impacted.

John Hancock to Discontinue Sales of its New York Partnership Long-Term Care Insurance Product

John Hancock regularly monitors our long-term care insurance product portfolio to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of our customers and distributors. After a thorough analysis of our New York long-term care insurance business, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue sales of our New York Partnership individual long-term care insurance
policies (Policy Forms: LTC-11 NYP and LTC-11 SGNYP) effective April 27th, 2015. Our LTC product portfolio is moving in a different direction than New York Partnership product requirements allow. Click here for

eDocuments is expanding in March 2015!

For your convenience, John Hancock is expanding eDocuments — our popular eDelivery service — to include electronic access to key post-issue policy documents, beginning in late March, 2015!

As a result, we will also discontinue producer mailings of the post-issue documents that are being made available through the eDocuments service.
