Recent Fixed-Indexed Annuity Rate Decreases

Ensure Your Transfer and Rollover Funds are Received on Time

For pending transfers, please follow the guidelines provided in the table below to receive the
higher rate:

Paperwork received	Funds must be received by 5:00 p.m. ET on:
December 21 – January 6	February 20
January 7 – January 20	March 6

Please note that rate lock does not apply to the holding account rate. Therefore, purchase
payments will be credited the new holding account interest rate until premium is moved into the selected indexed strategy(ies) on the 6^thor 20^th of the month.

The American Custom 10 fixed-indexed annuity and optional riders are now available for sale in
Iowa.

Please see the state approval chart for details.

Please note Iowa has approved a variation of the American Custom 10. An early withdrawal
charge is applied to surrenders and withdrawals for the first nine contract years:
