Reminder – Rate Decreases Effective June 2 & 21

Fixed-Indexed Annuity Decreases

Rates are decreasing for the following fixed-indexed annuities effective Saturday, June 21, 2014.

-American Legend III

-American Valor 10

-Safe Outlook

-Safe Return

Rates will be determined by the date money is received, regardless of the order ticket date. In order to receive the previous rate, funds must be received by
Friday, June 20.

Fixed Annuity Decreases

Rates are decreasing for the following fixed annuities effective Monday, June 2, 2014.

-SecureGain 5

-SecureGain 7

-Secure American

Order tickets with checks received in the Home Office by end of business day Friday, May 30 will be processed with the previous rates. Transfers and rollovers received
by May 30 must have funds in the Home Office by Friday, June 27 to receive
the previous rate.

now accepting inherited non-qualified business on the following products:

generations.

Please note inherited non-qualified contracts can only be issued up to age 75. Additionally, the IncomeSecure, Inheritance Enhancer and IncomeSustainer Plus riders are not available on inherited non-qualified business.

Summer hours

We will be implementing summer hours again this year in our Cincinnati Home Office. Effective Monday, June 2 through Friday, August 29, 2014, summer business hours are:

–Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET

(Client Relations hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET)

–Friday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET

(Client Relations hours: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET)
