Commission Changes & Form Update for Certain Sales to Veterans

Effective January 1, 2014, commissions will be reduced by 25% for all sales involving wartime veterans and/or their surviving spouses where an irrevocable trust is named the owner.

In order to receive the current commission rates, order tickets must be received in the
Home Office by end of business day December 31.

Also, an updated nationwide Addendum to the Client Financial Disclosure Form
(D2659113NW) is now available for these sales. The new version should be
used in place of the current version (D2623709NW). As a reminder, the
addendum is required in addition to the Client Financial Disclosure Form for
Irrevocable Trusts (D2658913NW).

We will continue to accept the previous version of the form through December 31,
2013. If the previous version is submitted after this date, paperwork will be considered not in good order and could result in processing delays.

Please note for California sales involving residents age 65 and older, you should
continue to complete the Agent/Producer Statement (D2659913CA) in addition
to the addendum.

New Florida Annuity Suitability Questionnaire for Irrevocable Trusts

A new Florida Annuity Suitability Questionnaire (D2658913FL) is now available for

irrevocable trusts. The new form should be used in place of the current form (D2624213FL) for all Florida sales where an irrevocable trust is named the owner, including exchanges, transfers and rollovers. Please note pages one through three of the form must be completed, even if clients select an opt-out option on page six.

We will continue to accept the current Florida Annuity Suitability Questionnaire for
these cases through January 3, 2014. After this date, if the correct version is not submitted, paperwork will be considered not in good order and could result in processing delays.

Important Year-End Reminders

Year-End Processing Deadline – December 13, 2013

To ensure that applications for loans, distributions, required minimum distribution (RMD) requests or annuitizations are processed in the 2013 calendar year, all
necessary paperwork must be received in the Home Office and in good order by
December 13, 2013.

Complete your AML Refresher Course by December 31

Please remember to complete your annual LIMRA AML refresher course by December
31, 2013. If you do not complete the training by year-end, commissions will be held until training is completed. If you have already completed the training, no additional action is required
