MasterDex X product changes in MN, MS, OH, PA, WA, and WY


Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz) is committed to bringing you sustainable benefits that offer value for your customers. To better manage and bring consistency to our fixed index annuity portfolio, we will be making the following changes to MasterDex X® Annuity in MN, MS, OH, PA, WA, and WY on March 25, 2014:

Loans will no longer be available. Note: in WY, loans are currently not available.

Guaranteed minimum value fixed interest rate will:

Change to 1.00% for all years

MN, MS, PA, and WA

Remain unchanged

OH, WY

 

Fixed interest allocation minimum rate will:

Change to 0.10%

MN, MS, OH, PA, WA, and WY

 

Guaranteed minimum annual point-to-point cap will:

Change to 0.25%

MN, MS, OH, PA, WA, and WY



Please note: These changes require use of new Statements
of Understanding and consumer brochures.

  • For your convenience, application packets can be uploaded via our website or faxed to 763.582.6002.
  • Fax or upload one application per transmission.
  • Do not mail the application after uploading or faxing.
  • Original transfer paperwork may be required in some cases.
  • Applications signed on or after 3/25/14 and/or received in the Allianz home office after 3:00 p.m. Central time on 3/31/14 will automatically receive access to the updated version of this product. A 3/2014 Statement of Understanding will be required prior to issue.
  • For applications signed before 3/25/14 and received in the Allianz home office by 3:00 p.m. Central time on 3/31/14, the owner will receive the pre-3/25/14 version of the product. A version of the Statement of Understanding acceptable prior to the 3/25/14 changes
    will be required prior to issue.
  • Other standard business rules and guidelines apply.


On March 18, 2014, you will be able to select between two versions of forms and materials in these states based on when the application will be submitted.
