Errors and omissions insurance

Valued FMO,

Thank you for helping make our first-quarter sales a huge
success. With your hard work and dedication, I’m confident
we’ll carry this great momentum through the rest of 2014.

The well-being of your business is one of our highest
priorities. To help ensure our mutual success, Allianz
Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz) will
require agents applying for an Allianz contract to carry
errors and omissions (E&O) insurance. This change will go
into effect for new agent contract applications received
beginning June 1, 2014. Agents will be required to provide
evidence of E&O coverage of at least $1,000,000 at the
time they apply for an Allianz contract. We will not
request currently contracted agents to provide evidence of
E&O coverage unless applying for a new agent contract.

In
the coming days, an Allianz representative will be
reaching out to your FMO contracting department to provide
updated forms and procedures.

Thank you very much for your business and I look forward
to a great 2014!

All the best,

Eric J. Thomes
