Updated Version of JH LTC Illustrator Now Available
John Hancock is providing an updated version of the new JH LTC Illustrator desktop software that is now compatible with all operating systems. If you experienced any prior issues with running the software, you must uninstall it and then reinstall this new version. If you did not experience any issues running the software you do not need to take any action. Please go to www.jhltc.comfor instructions on how to download and run this updated version.

JH LTC Illustrator to replace Hansel as the LTC Quoting Tool
A new platform, JH LTC Illustrator, has been introduced to run illustrations for all long-term care insurance products: CC III with Benefit Builder, Partnership Products in
Connecticut and Indiana, and the new Performance LTC product. This new system has a streamlined design and a more enhanced user experience.

John Hancock to Suspend Sales of its Individual
Long-Term Care Insurance Product in New Hampshire
John Hancock has made the difficult decision to suspend sales of our individual long-term care insurance product; Custom Care III featuring Benefit Builder, in the state of New Hampshire effective March 31, 2015 due to recent regulatory changes. The new Performance LTC product is not being launched in New Hampshire due to these changes. Please click here for a more complete explanation.
New Business Transition Guidelines for CCIII featuring Benefit Builder product and pricing changes in New York
Paper applications for current rates and benefits in New York must have been signed on or prior to March 15, 2015 and received in the John Hancock home office by end-of-day March 23, 2015. Please click here for complete details.

Next round of in-force rate action notifications to take place in late April
In late April, we will begin policyholder notifications on the next round of John Hancock and Fortis policies impacted by the 2010 and 2013 in-force rate actions, which will have an effective date beginning with anniversaries on or after July 1, 2015.
The 2013 rate action notifications will include John Hancock LTCI individual policies originally issued in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and South Carolina are impacted. Also, we will continue the implementation in
Nebraska, Washington, and Wyoming and begin notifications for additional products in those states. Fortis LTCI individual policies originally issued in New Mexico and South Dakota are also impacted.
