Reminder – Revised Fixed-Indexed Annuity Rates Effective November 21

Due to the recent increase in 10-year treasury rates, we have revised the previously announced fixed-indexed annuity rate decreases that are effective November 21, 2014.

For Safe Outlook and American Legend III:

• Declared rate decreases are cancelled.
• Most caps are decreasing by 25 bps less than previously announced.

Rates will be determined by the date money is received, regardless of the order ticket date. Funds must be received by Thursday, November 20, 2014 in order to
receive the current rates.

Important Year-End Reminders

Year-End Processing Deadline – December 12, 2014

To ensure that
applications for loans, distributions, required minimum distribution (RMD)
requests or annuitizations are processed in the 2014 calendar year, all
necessary paperwork must be received in the Home Office and in good order by
December 12, 2014.

Complete your AML Refresher Course by December 31

Please remember to
complete your annual LIMRA anti-money laundering (AML) refresher course by
December 31, 2014. If you do not complete the training by year-end,
commissions will be held until the training is completed. If you have
already completed the training, no additional action is required.

New Financial Inventory Worksheet Available

A new Financial Inventory Worksheet (S1073214NW) is now available. The form includes an updated layout, and new fields in the Household Net Worth section to
differentiate between annuities in and out of their surrender charge
periods.

This form is required for all IRA and non-qualified sales $250,000 or higher, and when Household Net Worth is less than $100,000.

We will continue to accept the previous version of the form.
