Fixed-indexed annuity rate increases

Great news! We are excited to announce that rates are increasing for the
American Legend III, Safe Outlook and Safe Return!

-American Legend III caps up to 7.75%

-Safe Outlook caps up to 5.00%

-Safe Return caps up to 4.50%

-Declared rates and caps are effective as of September 21, 2014. Premium
received as of September 7, 2014 will receive the higher rate.

-Holding account rates are effective September 21, 2014.
